Larry Perrone is an associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where his practice focuses on white collar criminal defense and internal and government investigations. The vast majority of Larry's practice involves conducting internal or government investigations and defending individuals and companies charged with or investigated for violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), U.S. export control and economic sanctions laws, specifically the Export Administration Regulation, International Traffic in Arms Regulation, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control, and related matters involving national security. Larry has significant experience representing clients in actions or investigations involving the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of Commerce, and Department of State. In addition to this practice, Larry is well versed in developing anticorruption compliance programs for companies in the technology and pharmaceutical industries. He frequently conducts anticorruption due diligence and advises clients during mergers and acquisitions and initial public offerings.

Larry also is committed to representing indigent criminal defendants in federal courts and proceedings, and he devotes a significant amount of pro bono hours to working with the Public Defender's Office for the District of Columbia and the Federal Defender's Office for the Eastern District of Virginia. He serves as the pro bono coordinator of the firm's Washington, D.C., office and was awarded WSGR's highest award for pro bono service in 2012, the John Wilson Award. Prior to joining the firm, Larry completed internships at the Public Defender's Office in Jacksonville, Florida, and with Jacksonville Area Legal Aid.
