Lee Ann Russo's practice is concentrated on complex business litigation. She has extensive experience in the areas of class action, securities, commodities and commercial litigation, with substantial trial experience before state and federal courts. She has lead counsel experience in the representation of issuers, officers and directors, and securities broker-dealers and commodity futures commission merchants, in state and federal securities and commodities fraud litigation. These matters include securities fraud class actions, shareholder derivative actions, and federal, state, and SRO regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings.

Lee Ann has represented clients in multistate attorneys general investigations and litigation, including a 50-state attorneys general investigation involving consumer fraud and product safety issues. She also has significant experience in the arbitration of commercial disputes, having successfully prosecuted and defended numerous claims brought in arbitration. Representative clients in recent public matters include Abbott Laboratories, Standard Bank, Plc, Bear Stearns, Bridgestone/Firestone, Lehman Brothers, Takeda Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc., TAP Pharmaceutical Products, and Career Education Corporation.

Lee Ann is the administrative partner and pro bono coordinator for the Chicago Office of Jones Day. She is President of the Board of Directors of the Public Interest Law Initiative and a member of the Leadership Board of the National Immigrant Justice Center.
