Leo regularly defends pharmaceutical companies, chemical manufacturers, automobile makers, and producers and retailers of consumer goods in products liability litigation. In addition, he represents agribusiness in environmental and nuisance actions. He also assists financial institutions in consumer credit and lending matters.

Since joining McGuireWoods in 1997, Leo has tried civil cases involving a variety of subject matters, used motions practice to extricate clients from litigation, and sustained victories on appeal. He has guided clients through class actions, consolidated matters, and multidistrict litigation in state and federal courts across the country.

Leo was a member of Phi Beta Kappa at Hampden-Sydney College.
