Lindsay Carlson focuses her practice on complex business disputes, including product liability matters and the defense of consumer class actions. She has extensive experience defending against claims brought under California’s Unfair Competition Law, Consumer Legal Remedies Act, and False Advertising Law.

Lindsay has represented clients across a range of industries in class action matters. Significantly, she defended an international automobile manufacturer in multidistrict litigation (MDL) and state court consolidated proceedings involving over 200 nationwide consumer class actions, where she was responsible for leading teams handling advertising issues and discovery relating to more than 100 named plaintiffs and absent class members. Additionally, she has represented a manufacturer of plumbing products, and companies in the telecommunications and financial services industries.

Lindsay has also defended an array of product liability matters, including claims involving pressure vessel failures on behalf of a component manufacturer, and numerous personal injury and wrongful death actions arising out of claimed exposure to pesticides, benzene and other chemical products. She has also represented a do-it-yourself moving company on more than a dozen matters in California and other western states involving injuries to customers and third parties.

Lindsay is an active member of the National Association of Women Lawyers, where she frequently speaks on topics relating to the advancement of women in the legal profession. She also serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of Girls on the Run of Los Angeles, a position that allows her to use her passion for running to empower girls to recognize their limitless potential.
