Lorna’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, outsourcing, information technology and technology transaction issues. She also deals with intellectual property issues, including licensing, due diligence, and patent prosecution, and has represented clients in structuring and negotiating technology and software contracts. Lorna also works with clients on government contracting and compliance issues.

Lorna began her career as an environmental engineer before moving into the technology sector where she provided analytical and strategic support to one of the largest Internet service provider of the 1990s. As part of a pioneer in the software as a service market, she was responsible for identifying acquisition targets, managing diligence activities, and integrating acquired companies, and as a former consultant she brings extensive experience in technology transformation projects.
