Lucinda H. Alfieri Decaprio

Lucinda Alfieri DeCaprio focuses her litigation practice on the defense of toxic tort, general liability and product liability matters. Lucinda has extensive experience as a trial attorney in both state and federal courts in New York. In addition to successful outcomes at trial, Lucinda also has resolved cases through motion and appellate practice as well as non-binding mediations.

In the toxic tort area, Lucinda has experience with claims related to mold and chemical exposure as well as premises liability claims arising from alleged exposure to lead-based paint. In 2004, Lucinda obtained a defense verdict in a lead poisoning action that was featured in the New York Law Journal’s “Top 10 Defense Wins of the Year.”

Lucinda additionally has litigated and/or tried numerous automobile, product liability and general liability cases, including construction/Labor Law claims, hotel liability and other premises liability actions. She frequently addresses insurance companies and corporations regarding defense strategies for toxic tort and premises litigation.
