Luis Gomar is a Partner in the International Energy Practice Group, serves as the Mexico City Office Leader, and also practices in the Firm’s Dallas office. He has significant experience in cross-border energy transactions throughout Latin America. He regularly advises clients on the numerous aspects of domestic and international business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint venture and strategic alliances, financing, capital raising, and fund formation. Luis provides general legal advice to oil, gas, and energy companies, including company structure planning, formation, specialized and run-the-company contracts, joint operating agreements, host government contracts, unitization agreements, and international taxation planning. He also advises funds, management companies, and private issuers pursuing a variety of fundraising and investment strategies.
