Lyndall M. Lambert

Lyndall M. Lambert is a partner in the Miami office of Holland & Knight. She devotes her practice primarily to aviation litigation, product liability and mass disaster matters.

Ms. Lambert has 32 years of litigation experience in the defense of aviation and product liability cases. She represents major commercial airlines in multi-district and other litigation arising out of various domestic and foreign airline crashes, including, for example, the crash of Delta Flight 191 in Dallas, Texas; the terrorist bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland; and the accidents involving American Airlines Flight 965 near Cali, Colombia, American Airlines Flight 1420 in Little Rock, Arkansas, Turkish Airlines Flight 1951 in Amsterdam, and AIRES Flight 8250 in San Andres, Colombia. She has defended aircraft owners/lessors or sellers in cases involving the crashes of West Caribbean Airlines Flight 708 in Venezuela in August 2005, TAM Flight 3054 in Brazil in July 2007, and AtlasJet Flight 4034 in Turkey in November 2007. In multidistrict litigation proceedings, Ms. Lambert has coordinated the defense of hundreds of claims brought in many different jurisdictions.

Her litigation experience also includes medical malpractice defense, toxic tort litigation, personal injury and wrongful death damages claims, appellate practice and alternative dispute resolution.

Ms. Lambert presented mock transportation litigation trials involving testimony from neuropsychology experts at the International Bar Association 2003 conference in San Francisco, the American Psychological Association 2004 conference in Hawaii, and the 2007 conference of the Coalition of Clinical Practitioners in Neuropsychology, in Orlando.

Ms. Lambert is very active in the community through her involvement in nonprofit organizations dedicated to helping at-risk youth and the pro bono legal representation of children in foster care. She also acts as a volunteer guardian ad litem in Miami Dade County family and juvenile courts.
