Maggie Krantz is an Of Counsel attorney in Williams Mullen’s Health Care Section. She represents physicians, physician groups, ambulatory surgery centers, diagnostic imaging centers, hospitals and health systems, nursing homes and other health care entities in a variety of state and federal regulatory matters. She has experience advising clients on issues such as Certificate of Public Need (COPN), state certification and licensure requirements, Anti-Kickback Statute and Stark Law compliance, Medicare billing issues and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
Maggie also has experience providing transactional advice to clients in joint ventures, professional service arrangements, employment arrangements and many other corporate matters.
Maggie joined Williams Mullen in 2016 after two separate stints at another corporate law firm. In between, she served as consultant to the U.S. Army Medical Department Activity Bavaria in Germany, the largest footprint in the U.S. Army Medical Command.
A Poland native, Maggie is fluent in Polish and German. She received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. She received a Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, from Christopher Newport University.
