Marc Chamlin represents television production companies, cable networks, animation studios, digital content creators and aggregators, branded content and advertising companies, unwired barter advertising networks, and music and sound design libraries, as well as individual representation of actors, directors, screenwriters, authors, program hosts and news anchors.
Mr. Chamlin handles transactional work that includes non-scripted/reality and scripted series development, production and distribution for cable and broadcast television; animation and live action original productions for digital platforms; public television pledge-special production and related ancillary licensing; advertiser-financed television programming; product and brand integration and placement; short-form and long-form children’s cable television animation and live action production, distribution and financing; documentary film production and distribution; merchandising and product licensing; property licensing and acquisition for television and film; book publishing and co-author agreements; television commercial production; product endorsement transactions; sports tour and event sponsorships and athlete service contracts; infomercials; and media executive employment contracts.
In addition, Mr. Chamlin regularly represents privately-held television production companies in complex sale/merger agreements with larger media companies, and counsels networks and production companies in respect of production claims, contractual distribution disputes and rights infringement claims.
