Maggie Lassack is Of Counsel in the Washington, D.C., office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where her practice focuses on privacy, data security, advertising, and marketing practices.

Before joining the firm, Maggie spent four years (2010-2014) as an attorney at the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in the Bureau of Consumer Protection’s Division of Privacy and Identity Protection and Division of Marketing Practices. While serving at the FTC, she investigated and prosecuted deceptive and unfair practices related to data security, consumer privacy, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, credit card payment processing, and marketing practices.

Prior to joining the FTC, Maggie spent four years as an associate with Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York and Washington, D.C., where she focused on antitrust, litigation, and regulatory investigations, including those related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
