Marina Remennik is Special Counsel in the Emerging Companies and Securities Regulation practice groups and a member of Cooley's Business department. Ms. Remennik joined the Firm in 2008 and is resident in the Palo Alto office.

Ms. Remennik's practice is focused on corporate securities, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, and general corporate and business matters. She advises both public and private companies in a broad range of industries, including life sciences, networking, telecommunications and semiconductors. Her experience includes advising clients on a variety of corporate and financial transactions, including public offerings, private placements of equity and debt securities, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital financings transactions. Her practice also includes general corporate and securities law counseling, including the ongoing reporting requirements of public companies, corporate governance matters and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance issues.

Prior to joining Cooley, Ms. Remennik was an associate at Heller Ehrman LLP, practicing corporate and securities law in the Corporate/VLG practice group.

Ms. Remennik received a JD degree in 1998 from the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law, and a BA degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley in 1995, where she graduated with honors.

Ms. Remennik is a member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of California. Ms. Remennik is fluent in Russian.
