Marissa Banez specializes in products liability and toxic tort, which includes asbestos and tobacco litigation. In asbestos matters, she has represented from complaint through trial (many times as lead counsel) major manufacturers, contractors and distributors of asbestos-containing products in both personal injury and property damage cases in California, New York and New Jersey. She also has worked on tobacco matters for a major domestic tobacco manufacturer.

Marissa also has worked, pro bono, with The Veterans Consortium as appellate counsel before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and with New York City’s Advocates for Children, assisting parents with children that have learning disabilities.
