Marjorie Cohen is a full-service litigator, handling actions though all levels from pleadings to discovery, motions practice, mediation, trials and appeals, in both state and federal courts. A large portion of her practice is focused on insurance coverage and defense, with an emphasis on life, health, disability and ERISA litigation. In addition, she has a growing practice in professional liability matters, currently concentrated in the area of securities industry professionals, with past and present clients in the professions of insurance, law, education and medicine.
Marjorie has a particular aptitude for unraveling the complicated legal and technical aspects of her cases. With experience as a high school science teacher (and a Jeopardy win), she knows how to think on her feet and communicate difficult concepts. Marjorie is also attuned to the role of attorney as counselor, actively listening to the concerns of her professional clients and guiding them to minimize the stress of litigation.
