Mark A. Finkelstein

Mark Finkelstein has broad experience litigating complex matters involving patent, copyright, trademark, and trade dress infringement, as well as misappropriation of trade secrets and unfair competition. He has represented companies in patent infringement actions involving medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and software and was a founding member of the Legal Committee's IP Working Group for AdvaMed, the world's largest association of medical device manufacturers. Mark has handled numerous trials and appeals in state and federal courts.

Mark is co-leader of the medical devices subgroup at Jones Day. He has written articles on patent reform, cybersquatting, and trade dress infringement and has spoken on intellectual property protection and electronic discovery. He has been a member of the American and Orange County Bar Associations, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, and the Orange County Patent Law Association.

Mark currently serves on the board of directors of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers Orange County.
