Mark A. Medearis

Mark Medearis is a partner in the Emerging Companies practice group and a member of the Cooley Business department. Mr. Medearis joined the Firm in 2008 and is resident in the Palo Alto office.

Mr. Medearis represents emerging growth and public companies, with an emphasis on private financings, public offerings, strategic partnerships and mergers and acquisitions. His clients are primarily in the technology industry, including: digital commerce, social media and games; mobile, telecommunications and networking; software and software-based services; semiconductors; and cleantech. Mr. Medearis regularly represents venture capital firms in investments in emerging growth companies and investment banks in initial and follow-on offerings.

Mr. Medearis co-founded Venture Law Group and was also a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. He has been named one of the Best Lawyers in America in Venture Capital Law and a Northern California Super Lawyer by San Francisco Magazine.
