Mark Halbert practices in the area of general civil litigation and labor and employment. He has more than 20 years of litigation experience, with extensive experience in employment litigation, tort claims, commercial litigation and estate disputes.
Mr. Halbert represents management in a variety of employment matters including employment discrimination claims, wrongful termination, fair labor standards and practices, and employment policies. He represents business clients in contract negotiations, breach of contract claims, non-competition and non-solicitation clauses, and lease disputes. His tort litigation work includes premises liability claims, trucking accidents and malicious prosecution. He has extensive experience in chancery court matters involving will contests, breach of fiduciary duty and general probate disputes.
Mr. Halbert is licensed to practice law in Mississippi and Arkansas, and he has litigated cases in state and federal courts, including appeals to the Fifth and Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Court of Federal Claims.
