Mark advises clients on matters involving regulatory compliance, including anti-kickback and “Stark” law issues, health information exchange and health record interoperability, privacy and security, the development of accountable care organizations and other health care reform issues, business transactions between and among providers and practitioners, certificate of public need requests and appeals, corporate governance and tax-exempt status issues, and physician credentialing, medical staff relations and physician disciplinary matters. Mark also has experience with New Markets Tax Credits financing structures. Mark is a member of the firm’s Health Care Reform Initiative.
