Mark W. Robertson

Mark W. Robertson is a partner in O'Melveny's New York office and a member of the Labor and Employment Practice. His practice focuses on the litigation and arbitration of a broad range of employment and labor-related disputes, with a specific focus on litigation under the Railway Labor Act, employment discrimination, employment contract disputes, non-competition issues, and trade secret misappropriation. Mark’s practice includes defending employers against single and multi-plaintiff lawsuits, as well as discrimination and other employment-related class action litigation. Mark also regularly represents airlines in various general litigation matters, including passenger removal cases and aircraft lease disputes.

Mark has been nationally recognized by Legal 500 for his labor and employment litigation work and also for labor-management relations matters. Mark practices before both state and federal courts throughout the country, and has also appeared before various administrative agencies, including the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Mark also provides counseling and strategic advice on labor and employment related matters, and advises on corporate transactions with respect to non-competition agreements, employment agreements, and other labor and employment law issues arising out of mergers and acquisitions. Mark has represented employers in a variety of industries, including airline, entertainment, private equity, financial services, professional services, education, gaming, construction, express transportation, technology, and manufacturing, among others. In addition to his regular practice, Mark also devotes time to various pro bono matters every year, and serves as the pro bono partner for O’Melveny’s New York Office and an advisory board member of the New York Legal Aid Society’s Community Development Project.
