Mary Race is an associate in the Litigation Department in Morrison & Foerster’s Palo Alto office.
Ms. Race received her B.C.L./LL.B. from McGill University’s Faculty of Law, where she served as the outreach coordinator of the McGill Centre for Human Rights & Legal Pluralism and competed in the 2010 Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. She clerked for the Court of Appeal for Ontario and served as a law clerk to the Honourable Justice Louis LeBel of the Supreme Court of Canada.
Ms. Race holds an M.A. in English from the University of Southern California and graduate degrees in Music and Religion from Oxford University, where she was a Marshall Scholar. She received a B.Mus. in Music and English from Vanderbilt University.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Race was a development consultant for Human Rights Watch and taught writing at the University of Southern California.
