Masahiro Noda

Masa Noda is involved in various aspects of intellectual property policing, protection and enforcement, and has wide-ranging experience in various domestic and global intellectual property matters. Masa represents clients in trademark, trade dress, domain name, copyright, and false advertising litigation in federal and state courts and in the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He also regularly handles the negotiation of licenses, contract disputes, acquisitions and divestitures, and due diligence reviews.

Masa has developed global anti-counterfeiting enforcement programs, successfully implementing strategies combining various IP claims and equitable remedies to obtain seizure orders, asset restraints and other forms of equitable relief against domestic and foreign companies. He regularly works with clients to create effective and efficient enforcement solutions tailored to each client’s business needs.

In his representation of global brands across a diverse array of industries – inclusive of cosmetics, pharmaceutical, food, fashion, entertainment and media – Masa manages U.S. and international trademark portfolios and also strategically counsels clients on global intellectual property development, protection, licensing, and advertising and marketing strategies.

As a native Japanese speaker and a true bilingual, Masa represents many Japanese companies in various intellectual property and corporate matters. Through his keen understanding of the business needs of these companies in the U.S., Masa provides strategic legal and business solutions.
