Matthew Bottomly is a Patent Agent in the firm's Orange County office and a member of the Litigation Division. He primarily focuses his practice on U.S. patent prosecution and litigation support.

Prior to joining Manatt, Mr. Bottomly managed patent and intellectual property matters while working in-house for a number of consumer electronics and entertainment companies. He has worked with a variety of technologies, including consumer electronics, telecommunications, semiconductors, RFID, fantasy sports, video games, streaming video and augmented reality.

Mr. Bottomly also worked as a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, where he worked with nanotechnology semiconductor patent applications.
