Matthew Smith is an associate in the Corporate group and a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions, Agribusiness, Cooperatives and Electric Associations, Capital Markets and Emerging Companies practice groups. Matt engages in a general corporate practice with an emphasis on corporate transactions, including private and public mergers and acquisitions, stock purchases and asset purchases, and representation of agribusinesses and cooperatives. In addition, Matt provides general corporate counseling, drafts and negotiates commercial contracts (both domestic and international) and assists clients in registered offerings, private placement transactions and venture capital financings.
