Matt Chisman has experience in a number of commercial litigation matters in federal and state courts, including the representation of some of the nation's largest corporations. His practice focuses on internal investigations and complex civil litigation in areas including construction, class action, contract disputes, and general business litigation. His trial experience includes taking depositions, defending depositions, and witness preparation. In addition, Matt has been involved in many aspects of modern discovery and e-discovery, including supervising a team of attorneys as part of a large-scale international investigation.

Matt also has significant experience with construction-related matters, including assisting Nationwide Realty Investors and its subsidiaries with several multimillion dollar actions relating to the construction of multiple luxury apartment complexes.

Matt maintains an active pro bono practice, including defending clients through The Legal Aid Society of Columbus's Consumer Debt Project. He also has advised the Public International Law & Policy Group, a global pro bono law firm, on matters including the reintegration of Somali nationals convicted of piracy. Matt is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association.
