Matthew J. Swietlik is senior counsel and registered patent attorney with Foley & Lardner LLP. Mr. Swietlik provides counseling relating to a wide variety of intellectual property issues, particularly those involving patent procurement and counseling, patent infringement and validity analyses, and intellectual property due diligence. He counsels clients in a variety of technical disciplines, including wireless communications, medical devices, financial services, and other consumer and industrial products and services. Mr. Swietlik is a member of the firm’s Mechanical & Electromechanical Technologies Practice and Medical Devices Industry Team.

Prior to joining Foley, Mr. Swietlik was a manufacturing engineer and project manager for an avionics equipment manufacturing company in Wisconsin.
