Matt is an attorney with experience in a variety of commercial litigation contexts. He has represented individuals and companies in contract, tort, insurance coverage, product liability, landlord-tenant, regulatory, energy, and other contexts.

Matt has also been active in his community, volunteering for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle, co-chairing a committee of the North Carolina Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, and serving on boards and committees at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is also a graduate of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Raleigh Program.

While earning his law degree from Duke University School of Law, Matt served as an Editorial Board Member and Note Author for the Duke Law Journal and was a member of the Mock Trial Board. As an undergraduate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he served as student body president from 2004 to 2005. At UNC, Matt was named to the Order of the Golden Fleece as well as the Order of the Grail-Valkyries.
