Matthias “Ty” Barringer is an associate in Alston & Bird’s Technology, Privacy & IP Transactions Group. He represents clients by negotiating and drafting complex agreements such as software licenses, technology procurement contracts, nondisclosure agreements and end user licenses for mobile applications.
Mr. Barringer received his J.D. from Washington University School of Law in 2013. While in law school, he served as vice president of the Intellectual Property Law Society and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for highest grade awarded in both Contracts and Law and Business of Intellectual Property Licensing & Technology Transfer.
In 2010, Mr. Barringer earned a B.E. in mechanical engineering from Vanderbilt University, where he served as president of the school’s award-winning rocket team.
