Maya Mitchell is counsel in King & Spalding’s Corporate Practice Group in New York. Ms. Mitchell received her law degree from Columbia Law School in 2007.

She has significant experience representing private investment groups and public and private companies in mergers, stock and asset acquisitions and divestitures, carve-out transactions, joint ventures, recapitalizations, growth equity investments, venture investments and other corporate and governance matters.

Ms. Mitchell is a Fellow to the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity. Prior to King & Spalding, Ms. Mitchell was a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity groups at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson.
