Meghan represents management clients with regard to labor and employment law issues. Her practice is diverse and includes counseling, litigation, arbitration and mediation in a wide range of areas including employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, disability and leaves of absence, reductions in force, wage and hour compliance and labor-relations.
Meghan has significant experience counseling clients on compliance with various laws affecting the workplace, including FMLA, ADEA, Title VII, ADA, FLSA and state and local employment laws. Meghan’s experience also includes drafting employment related policies, conducting internal investigations and conducting training sessions on a variety of employment related issues. Meghan has also been routinely called upon by clients to provide counseling and proactive risk reduction advice relating to conducting terminations, including company-wide reductions in force.
Meghan is also experienced in litigating a variety of labor and employment disputes including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, violations of collective bargaining agreements, ERISA violations, wage and hour law compliance and other violations of federal, state and local law. Additionally, Meghan has appeared before various administrative agencies defending clients against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation and violations of wage and hour laws.
