Representing a national retailer in a proceeding before the D.C. Court of Appeals.
Defending a local business in proceedings before the D.C. Human Rights Commission.
Representing an energy company in a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and an arbitration before the International Centre for Dispute Resolution.
Prosecuting a claim on behalf of a pro bono client before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.


Prior to joining Venable, Ms. Boylan served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney's Office. As a member of the Appeals Bureau, she wrote numerous appellate briefs involving a wide range of factual and legal issues. She has presented oral arguments before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals; the New York Court of Appeals (New York State's highest court); and the Appellate Division, First Department (New York State's intermediate appellate court for Manhattan and the Bronx).
