Mike is a South Bend elder law attorney who has spoken widely on elder law issues to older adults, nursing homes and continuing legal education programs for other lawyers.
Drawing on two decades of experience working inside companies and as an outside advisor and counselor, Michael helps companies transfer, implement and exploit disruptive technologies. He has been ranked in the top tier of Information Technology and Outsourcing lawyers by Chambers USA since 2007. He is also recognized in the 2016 edition of Best Lawyers in America in the field of Information Technology Law.
Michael negotiates technology licenses and other forms of technology transfer, technology development agreements and joint ventures. For emerging companies, this includes all kinds of commercial relationships to secure the supply chain and commercialize and sell the company's products. For larger enterprises, he negotiates deals to implement ERP systems, Big Data and mission critical platform implementations, most involving various flavors of SaaS and cloud solutions.
In the outsourcing industry, Michael has advised on all kinds of sourcing relationships from traditional outsourcing to SaaS, co-sourcing, and technology- based joint ventures. His clients include Fortune 100 companies in some of the largest and most transformational projects in their industries.
