General Corporate Practice. Experience with the formation of domestic and cross-border investment funds, aircraft finance and equipment leasing transactions and corporate acquisitions. In the equipment financing area, practice includes representation of major manufactures of aircraft and aircraft engines and U.S. finance companies in both domestic and international finance transactions and cross-border lease transactions.
Special Situations Trading Practice. Provide advice to clients on legal issues relating to the purchase and sale of loans, securities, and assets of distressed and bankrupt companies, including trade claims and other illiquid assets. Experience includes working with traders in “live” trading situations and pre-trade analysis of potential investment opportunities. Expertise in both LSTA (Loan Syndications and Trading Association) and LMA (Loan Market Association) documentation.
Pro Bono. Represent nonprofit organizations in establishing and capitalizing microfinance institutions in underserved emerging markets. Additional experience with political asylum and immigration cases.
