Mike Brisbin is a member of the firm’s Life, Health, Disability & ERISA practice. Mike focuses on the defense of individual life, health and disability insurers in bad faith cases with significant punitive damages exposure. He also defends bad faith, breach of fiduciary duty and related coverage matters involving group plans governed by ERISA.

From inception through trial, Mike handles all aspects of life, health and disability matters, from assessing the case and directing discovery to taking depositions and preparing motions and appeals. He has extensive mediation, arbitration, pre-trial and trial experience in state and federal courts throughout California.
