A counsel in the Litigation Department, Michelle Parikh is a former federal prosecutor and experienced trial and appellate lawyer. She focuses her practice on white collar matters, internal investigations, regulatory enforcement, and civil and commercial litigation.
Prior to joining Paul, Weiss, Michelle served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia, where she was Deputy Chief of the Felony Major Crimes Trial Unit of the Superior Court Division. She also served two years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York. During her eight years as a federal prosecutor, Michelle tried over 35 cases and led the investigation and prosecution of a wide variety of crimes, including fraud, identity theft, cybercrime, homicide and sex offenses. Michelle received numerous special achievement awards for her work as a prosecutor. She also worked as an associate at a leading New York law firm prior to her time as an Assistant U.S. Attorney.

Michelle received a J.D., magna cum laude, from Cornell Law School, where she was a Managing Editor of the Cornell Law Review. She received a B.A., magna cum laude, in English Literature and Women's Studies from Cornell University.
