Michelle Margolies Tran, senior counsel in Clark Hill’s Estate Planning and Probate Practice Group, focuses her practice in the areas of sophisticated estate and tax planning for individuals, families, and businesses, using trusts and business entities to help her clients achieve their business succession, estate tax reduction, and asset protection goals. She also assists her clients in the creation of business entities and business transfers, complex trust and estate administration, probate, and prenuptial agreements.

Michelle is admitted to practice before the Arizona Supreme Court, the United States Tax Court, and the United States District Court in Arizona. She received her law degree from the Arizona State University College of Law in 1994 and her Masters of Laws (LL.M.) in taxation from the University of Florida College of Law in 1995. She is a published contributor to Arizona Community Foundation’s “Giving Counsel.”

Michelle is a member of the State Bar of Arizona Association's Tax Section and Probate & Trust Section, and the Maricopa County Bar Association, Estate Planning, Probate & Trust Section. She is also a member of the JCF Professional Advisory Committee, The Arizona Community Foundation's Professional Education Committee, and Valley Estate Planners, and an active participant in the Arizona Chapter of Exiting Planning Institute. Michelle is a 2015 participant in the ADL’s Glass Leadership Institute for the Arizona Region.
