Mark A. Aiello is a partner and litigation attorney with Foley & Lardner LLP where he focuses on business transactions and commercial litigation, including business transfer, supply chain and warranty litigation, product development and protection, as well as advising on business governance matters. His experience ranges from representing large businesses in complex matters to counseling small, closely held businesses concerning a wide range of commercial issues. Mr. Aiello is co-chair of the firm’s Automotive Industry Team.

Mr. Aiello has successfully completed a wide range of transactions and has conducted jury trials, bench trials, and arbitrations. He also has represented many clients in appellate proceedings, including in the Sixth Circuit and in the state court of appeals and supreme court.

While in law school, Mr. Aiello interned for General Motors Corporation and has particular knowledge representing and advising automotive suppliers and businesses in transaction and contractual matters, including representation with business planning, as a debtor or creditor, and in complex litigation.

Mr. Aiello’s experience includes serving as lead counsel in connection with business transaction, supply chain, product development, product warranty, real estate, construction, trade secret, acquisition, franchise and distribution, surety and insurance, product liability, estate, banking, shareholder and governance matters.
