After practicing for 14 years in AmLaw 100 firms in Washington, DC, I transitioned in-house as Director of Compliance at Big Lots Stores, Inc. I provide legal advice to business partners in support of Big Lots’ unique, non-traditional discount retail business, which operates in nearly 1,500 stores in 48 states. In working across all business divisions, I bring my years of experience counseling consumer goods and retail clients on product risk management and go-to-market compliance issues across a range of categories, including furniture, food, OTC drugs, cosmetics, home goods, children's products, appliances, electronics, automotive, and general consumer products. This includes products and chemicals regulated by CPSC, FDA, FTC, OSHA, and other federal and state laws, including California's Prop 65 and CARB, as well as Vermont's Act 120 (GE/GMO labeling).

I have published more than 40 articles across legal industry publications like ABA and Law360, and authored a chapter in the leading ABA book on Product Liability. Since 2013, I have served on the editorial board for Law360's Product Liability division.
