Natalya Northrip is a Counsel in the firm's eDiscovery and Information Governance group. Ms. Northrip devotes her law practice to helping clients find practical, cost-effective solutions to electronic data management, information law, eDiscovery, data privacy and security, and records and information governance challenges. Ms. Northrip has over a decade of experience as a litigator defending Fortune 500 companies in complex products liability litigation.
Ms. Northrip provides legal and strategic advice regarding all aspects of eDiscovery and information governance. Her experience includes managing the eDiscovery, collection, and review process for global companies, assistance with the crafting of global records retention schedules, drafting various policies and procedures related to data protection, the creation of company-wide approaches to archiving email and general enterprise content, and developing and documenting processes to identify, analyze, and properly dispose of legacy backup tapes and paper information.
Ms. Northrip is a native Russian speaker, who was born and raised in Ukraine. She received her undergraduate degree from Kiev State University, Institute of Journalism (Ukraine), where she was the editor-in-chief of the school's newspaper. Ms. Northrip's background helped her in defending a Fortune 500 company with cross-border SEC investigation of FCPA compliance in Russia, Ukraine, and other European countries.
