Nathan Haynes is a shareholder in Greenberg Traurig’s Business Reorganization & Financial Restructuring Practice, representing interested parties in complex financial and operational restructurings both in and out of court, including debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, agent banks, bondholders, shareholders, investors, and distressed asset sellers and purchasers. Nathan advises clients’ senior management and directors in connection with restructuring matters and strategic alternatives. He negotiates and implements bridge, rescue, DIP and exit financings and other restructuring documentation from each of the debtor, sponsor and creditor perspectives. Nathan coordinates and effectuates asset dispositions, and resolves claims and avoidance disputes. He also structures and negotiates front-end lending and purchase transactions to minimize subsequent downside risk, and appears before courts including on plan confirmation, contested matters, adversary proceedings and appeals. Nathan has restructuring experience in numerous industries, with a focus on the airline, real estate, timeshare, and retail sectors.
