Nathan Mitchler has a national practice focusing on multiple areas of commercial litigation, with an emphasis on complex commercial disputes that include products liability claims, complex business and contract disputes, class actions, and intellectual property matters.

Prior to joining Schian Walker, Nathan was a shareholder at Greenberg Traurig, LLP in Phoenix.

The four-time Super Lawyers Rising Stars selectee has wide-ranging experience with all aspects of litigation and adversary proceedings, from discovery through trial and appeal. Many of these disputes involve high-tech electronics, patents, medical devices, wireless communications, employment disputes, intellectual property, and licensing.

Nathan has managed and conducted all phases of discovery and motions practice for litigation involving electronic document collection, review and production. He is well versed in all aspects of discovery and has experience effectively utilizing many e-discovery platforms and methods for document review, analysis and production, with an eye toward depositions, summary judgment and trial.

Nathan also has significant experience before the FCC and other federal and state regulatory bodies, handling complex communications, licensing and media issues, including satellite, cable and intellectual property matters. In addition, Nathan advises clients with respect to business and franchise disputes, trademarks, trademark licensing, copyrights, online defamation, and general contract disputes, including trademark enforcement and litigation.

Away from the practice of law, Nathan enjoys tennis, squash, running, fly fishing, hiking and travel.
