Nima Amini is a counsel in O'Melveny's Hong Kong office and a member of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity practice groups.

With almost 10 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions, over seven of which have been spent in Asia, Nima has been continuously active on a wide range of corporate transactions, with a particular focus on public company and cross-border deals, including U.S. and Hong Kong tender offers, leveraged buyouts, “going private” transactions and other management buyouts, hostile or contested control transactions, proxy contests, reorganizations, spin-offs and joint ventures. Nima also regularly advises clients on U.S. and Hong Kong securities laws, particularly in the context of acquisitions and divestitures of strategic targets and portfolio companies.

Nima has also advised numerous Asia-based investment teams on forming private equity funds and also represented institutional investors, sovereign-wealth funds, pension funds and high-net worth individuals in their sponsorships of, anchor investments in, and/or co-investments with various international and Pan-Asia private equity and hedge funds.
