Patrick B. Fenn

Patrick B. Fenn co-heads the firm’s tax practice group and was one of the founding partners of the New York office in April 1993.

Practice & Background

Mr. Fenn focuses on the tax aspects of private equity funds, hedge funds, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, investments by foreign sovereign financing transactions, financial restructurings, and financial instruments. Mr. Fenn has been lead tax counsel on numerous domestic and multijurisdictional mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. He has provided tax advice to domestic and foreign entities in structuring acquisitions and operations in the United States and around the world, including Asia, Europe, Japan, Latin America, and South America.
