Patrick Barkley focuses his practice on the defense of complex civil litigation in the areas of mass tort, product liability, healthcare, and commercial matters. He works on both national and local counsel teams defending clients throughout the United States. Patrick engages in all aspects of civil litigation defense, including responding to discovery, drafting motions, and conducting depositions of fact witnesses and experts.

As a law student, Patrick interned for the Honorable Michael M. Mihm of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois, which provided valuable experience in federal court practice and procedure.

Patrick grew up in Peoria, Illinois, and moved to St. Louis for his undergraduate and law school studies. Outside of the law, Patrick enjoys playing golf and spending time with his fiancée, Amanda.
