PJ Bottari focuses his legal practice on litigating and defending high-profile negligence actions involving catastrophic injuries, usually resulting from construction accidents, as well as defending public and private landlords against lead poisoning claims. PJ has represented municipalities in toxic tort cases as well as many other types of municipal liability matters. He is a trial lawyer, and one of five lawyers at the firm admitted to the American Board of Trial Advocates, an invitation-only organization for attorneys who display exceptional skill, civility and integrity.
PJ is particularly effective at the art of cross-examination of experts, and he speaks on the subject to client groups and other attorneys. He specializes in cross-examining health care professionals and economists, particularly experts involved in the treatment of neurological disorders and mental health conditions. It is not unusual for him to be called in during a trial to provide advice on or actually perform such cross-examinations.
