While in law school, Mr. Lawler served as the president and treasurer of the Florida State College of Law Moot Court Team. During his tenure as president, the Moot Court Team won four national competitions. Mr. Lawler also served as the managing editor of the Journal of Transnational Law & Policy. He received book awards in Florida Civil Practice and Taxation I and was a winner of the Adam A. Milani Disability Law Writing Competition.
