Peter devotes a significant portion of his practice to mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities matters. He represents public and private companies, including energy, retail and private equity clients, in the structuring, financing, negotiation and consummation of stock and asset acquisitions, distressed asset acquisitions, divestitures and mergers ranging in size from several million dollars to in excess of a billion dollars.

Peter’s practice also includes structured finance matters. He devotes a portion of his practice to structuring, negotiating and documenting asset-securitization transactions involving numerous types of financial assets. These transactions include the public issuance and private placement of term and variable asset-backed securities and the securitization of financial assets through asset-backed commercial paper programs.

He has represented borrowers in secured loan facilities and is frequently asked to advise clients regarding general corporate matters.
