Peter F. Weinberg is special counsel in the Denver office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He is a registered patent attorney practicing in the area of intellectual property law, including patent and trademark prosecution. Mr. Weinberg's intellectual property litigation practice includes inter partes administrative proceedings before the Patent and Trademark Office and cases before the federal court. In addition, he advises clients in the identification and protection of intellectual property assets.
Prior to joining Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, Mr. Weinberg was an associate with Davis, Graham & Stubbs, where he practiced intellectual property law. Mr. Weinberg previously was an associate with the Denver intellectual property law firm of Beaton & Folsom.
Mr. Weinberg received his law degree in 1995 from the University of Colorado School of Law, where he graduated second in his class of 163, was elected to the Order of the Coif, and was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in eight subjects. He received his bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from The Johns Hopkins University in 1990.
