Peter H. Ajemian

Both an attorney and a professional musician, Peter Ajemian offers his clients a unique perspective as he combines his real-world experiences in the music industry with a decade of experience in intellectual property law. Peter is a published songwriter and guitarist with more than 40 songs placed in popular network and cable television shows, nationally released movies, and commercials.

Peter focuses on trademark, copyright and entertainment law and is a trusted advisor to his clients in the music and entertainment industries. His experience as an accomplished attorney and professional musician provides Peter with a working knowledge from the artist's perspective in the development of songwriter publishing contracts and the establishment of copyrights.

Peter’s practice also concentrates on protecting and enforcing intellectual property rights. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in trademark, copyright and domain name disputes in Federal Courts, as well as in trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).

Prior to joining Brownstein, Peter was a shareholder at Greenberg Traurig in its intellectual property and technology department. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Nevada School of the Arts.

Peter is a graduate of the University of Nevada Las Vegas William S. Boyd School of Law and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of New York at Buffalo.
