Peter Ekberg focuses his practice on M&A, private company transactions (including venture capital and other financings), corporate governance, securities laws, and general corporate counseling. He has particular experience representing clients in the medical technology, consumer products, IT, and renewable energy industries and has been the lead or significant counsel in numerous transactions and joint ventures throughout the United States and internationally.

For more than 20 years, Peter has represented strategic and financial businesses, with assets ranging from $100 million to $4 billion, in corporate, M&A, financings, restructurings, and other partnering transactions, as well as antitakeover and activist shareholder matters. He also has represented numerous foreign private issuers and companies traded on security exchanges located outside the U.S. in connection with M&A and other activities in the U.S.
