Peter J. Meza

Peter Meza's practice primarily involves the drafting and prosecuting of patents and advising on licensing matters for U.S. and international semiconductor and high technology electronics clients.

Before joining the firm, Peter was patent counsel at Ramtron International Corporation, a specialty memory company in Colorado Springs, where he had the primary role of supervising and growing the company's extensive patent portfolio.

Prior to joining Ramtron, Peter was in private practice for an intellectual property law firm in Portland, Oregon, where he wrote the briefs for the landmark in re Alappat case, which overturned 40 years of Patent Office practice. Peter received extensive training in patent law while employed in the patent department of Tektronix, Inc. in Beaverton, Oregon.

Before attending law school, Peter worked for nine years as an analog integrated circuit designer and is the holder of two U.S. patents.
